Readers' Cards : Elfrieda Kornelsen

Elfrieda Kornelsen sent in these beautiful handmade greeting cards to be included in this making greeting cards website. I love these beauties.

Elfrieda must have spent much time making them. And I'm definitely proud to present them here in a page on its own.

dry embossed daisy card by Elfrieda KornelsenDry Embossed Daisies

The above is a dry embossed daisy handmade card, colored with chalks, cut out, shaped and mounted over mulberry paper, and tucked inside folds.

Interesting way to make a pocket with eyelet to tuck in some paper-cut daisies.

dry embossed rose greeting cardDry Embossed Rose

Dry embossed rose, cut out, then coloured, using chalks, layered over a paper doily, embellished with woolly yarn and "diamonds".

The pink background card stock is also dry embossed with flower outlines.

embossed cutout flower handmade cardEnjoy the Simple Things

Stamped, coloured, cut out and shaped, layered and positioned onto off-centred folded card, with stamping and crimping on the shorter side. Peel-offs were added for a balanced look. A touch of gold colour on on side to enhance the words on the right stamped in gold ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

Love this message stamp; 'Take Time to Enjoy The Simple Things in Life.'

Lovely!
