These floral handmade cards are so bright and happy cards to send to any beautiful woman in your life.
Each card is beautiful created by hands using rubber stamps and watercolored in cheerful pretty colours like Rose Bud, Sweet Plum and Dandelion for flowers and Cottage Ivy, Pear Tart and Bamboo Leaves for stems. These are Memento marker colours from TSUKINEKO.
I have a preference for wild flowers and the flower images used here are more in that line.
Have a look!
The above simple floral card was made for a birthday to send 'Happy Wishes' to a girl friend. The image was stamped by brushing on with wet marker colours and immediately stamping onto 160 gsm white smooth card stock. Added the Happy Wishes stamped image and two tiny Hero Arts' gems to finish this birthday greeting card.
What about this watercolored flower card?
These flowers were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on white smooth 160 gsm card stock. The flower heads were painted with Crimson Red and Deep Yellow watercolour paints and the stems with Sap Green mixed with a bit of Hooker's Green.
The image was trimmed and mounted over a background of Jim Holtz's Distress Ink; colours used were broken china, forest moss and peeled paint.
Finally, 'sending you happy everything' in frame stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with same colours as flower heads then mounted on right side of the stems of flowers with double-sided foam tape.
White on white die-cut flower against a white die-cut border on left and happy Birthday stamped in Versafine Smokey Gray. And a touch of brilliance with the Hero Arts' gem.
Now, here's a fun card using the same flower stamp by Unity Stamp with a different message.
A card to send warm thoughts to someone special.
It was first stamped with VersaMark Dazzle, poured on fine detail clear embossing powder and went over with a heat gun.
A wash of Sap Green and Coeruleum Hue and daps of marker colours; dandelion and sweet plum for flowers. The flower image was coloured with Memento markers.
And finally, I stamped the message in Versafine Smokey Gray.
That's it! Four floral handmade cards in one night.
Yes, I made these in the quietness of the night while my neighbours were all asleep.
