I have just started quilling on a more serious note.
I love the techniques, I love the artistry, I love everything about quilling.
I made this particular Thinking of Your card as I was watching TV, and used leftover paper I had made with my shredder. The petals themselves are still true quilling paper, however the stem and middle are shredded colored paper I had left over, and wanted to work with 1/4 inch paper, that I had made with my yard sale shredder purchase.
I do so wish I hadn't forgotten to put petals on the stem, but, with everything I do, I don't look for perfection, since, there is really no such thing, but, petals would have set this off much better, I like that I learn from my own 'happy mistakes'!
Hope you like it too.
Blessings,
Kat
